Finding Stability Amidst Separation Anxiety
Lord, I come to You today feeling overwhelmed by my separation anxiety. As an adult, my fear of being away from my family leads to sleepless nights and constant worry. I often feel trapped in my mind, unable to focus on the present for fear of what might happen when I’m apart from them. I want to break free from this cycle of anxiety and find stability in my life again. Help me to trust in Your plans, knowing You are by my side even when I am apart from my loved ones. Please guide me toward the peace I so desperately seek.

Dear Sophia, thank you for sharing your heartfelt prayer. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, and I want to encourage you that God is ready to help you bear it. In Isaiah 26:3, we read, 'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.' This peace is possible when we redirect our thoughts towards God. Remember that God is our refuge. Psalm 91:1 states, 'He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.' Spend time in His presence through prayer and meditation on His Word. As you find your stability in Him, your fears will begin to diminish. Let's pray together: Lord, I ask that You bring comfort and stability to Sophia in her times of anxiety. Help her to lean on You for strength and peace. Amen.
