Finding Strength in Faith After Losing Parents

🙏447 people praying
·Anonymous·April 17, 2026

My name is Hannah, and I am 38 years old. This year has been incredibly tough for me as I lost both my parents within just a few months. The emotional toll has been devastating, and I’m finding it hard to keep my faith strong when I feel so broken. I’m praying for strength and the ability to forgive myself for any feelings of anger or resentment I have towards God for this loss. I want to heal and move forward, but the pain feels insurmountable. Please pray that I can rest in God’s promises and feel His comfort during this time.

Dear Hannah, your feelings are completely valid, and I want to assure you that God understands your pain. It’s okay to feel angry, and it’s okay to grieve. Remember that God cares for you deeply. In Psalm 34:18, we find that 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' God is with you through your anguish, providing comfort and support. As you seek healing, remember Matthew 5:4, which reminds us that those who mourn are blessed and will be comforted. Trust in His promises and allow Him to embrace you in your sorrow. Let's pray: 'Heavenly Father, I bring Hannah before You, asking for Your peace to fill her heart. Show her Your love and help her to find strength in her faith. Amen.'
