Finding Trust Again After Financial Betrayal
My name is Ajani, and I am a 28-year-old who just went through a difficult partnership breakup. I trusted my business partner for years, but he stole money from the business, leaving me with debts and unresolved contracts. I feel betrayed and fearful about starting over. I’ve been applying for loans to help me recover, but my credit has taken a hit because of this situation. I feel lost and am struggling to see where I go from here. I ask for prayer for a fresh start and for God to provide guidance and resources as I work to rebuild what has been lost.

Dear Ajani, thank you for sharing your testimony of endurance in the face of betrayal. It’s a painful reality to experience such a breach of trust, especially in business. The Lord knows your heart and understands the depth of your hurt. Remember that in Proverbs 22:29, it says, 'Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.' Your diligence will not go unrewarded. God has a plan for your life that is good, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Joshua 1:8 reminds us to meditate on the Word and to act courageously in our endeavors, so I encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture during this time. Seek wisdom in your business decisions and trust in God's provision. As you begin to rebuild, may you find clarity and renewed purpose.
