Grateful for Diagnosis, Praying for Healing
After years of uncertainty and feeling unheard, I finally received a diagnosis for my chronic pain—the doctors have confirmed it’s fibromyalgia. It’s such a relief to finally have answers, but I’m also feeling an overwhelming sense of fear about what this means for my life going forward. I fear what the future holds as I navigate this condition which is unpredictable and often painful. I’m asking for prayers for healing as I start treatment, and for the ability to find joy and purpose in my life despite these challenges. I want to trust that God has a plan for me.

Dear Sarah, I can sense the mix of relief and anxiety you’re experiencing. Receiving a diagnosis can sometimes feel like a double-edged sword, but it is also the first step in moving toward healing. Remember, God is our healer and has not left you alone in this journey. In Exodus, He promises, 'For I am the Lord that healeth thee' (Exodus 15:26). As you embark on this new treatment, I encourage you to stay anchored in the truth that God is with you every step of the way. The road may be long, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:7 that 'the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.' Pray for that peace to guide you amidst any uncertainties. I will pray for strength and for healing, that you may find joy in every new day. God has a purpose for you, and He will work all things for your good. Amen.
