Grieving the Loss of My Business Dream
After years of passion and hard work, my dream of running a community bookstore has come to a heartbreaking end. I poured everything into this venture—my time, finances, and love for literature. When the final decision came, it felt like I lost a cherished part of myself. I’m sad and struggling with feelings of failure and overwhelming guilt for not being able to provide for my family. I’m in need of prayer, not only for healing from this loss but also for guidance as I seek a new path forward. Help me to find hope in this dark time.

Dear Evelyn, thank you for sharing your heart during this painful time. It’s understandable to grieve the loss of your dream, as it represents not just a business but a part of who you are. However, I encourage you to look at this moment as an opportunity for God to redirect your steps towards His perfect will. In Romans 8:28, we are reminded that all things work together for good to them that love God. This may be difficult to see now, but trust that God has a purpose for your life beyond this setback. As you search for new directions, lean into God's promises and allow Him to lead you. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I pray for Evelyn as she experiences this loss. May she find comfort in Your presence, and guide her toward the future You have in store for her. Amen.
