Guidance for a Single Parent of Foster Children
As a single parent of two foster children, I constantly seek guidance on how to support them through their trauma while also balancing my own life. I often feel lost and uncertain about the best ways to help them heal and grow. My prayer is for wisdom in parenting them, to create an environment of stability and love. I want to ensure they know that they are safe and cherished. Please pray that God grants me the discernment I need in every situation and the strength to be the parent they deserve. Your desire to provide them with a stable, loving environment is commendable. I encourage you to remember God’s promise in Philippians 4:19: 'But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.' He knows your struggles and is ready to provide you with the wisdom you seek. Additionally, in Proverbs 31:10, we are reminded that a virtuous woman is worth far more than rubies. Your efforts reflect that virtue, and God sees the love and care you pour into your children. I will pray that you feel God's presence guiding your decisions and that He grants you the strength to overcome each challenge you face.
