Guidance for Rebuilding Trust in Leadership
Lord, I feel lost after discovering the misuse of church funds by our leaders. I have always believed in the mission of our church and have dedicated time and resources to support it. Now, my heart aches as I grapple with feelings of betrayal and anger towards those I trusted. Please guide our pastor as he addresses this issue with the congregation. I pray for wisdom and discernment for our church leadership as they navigate this difficult time. Help us all to seek Your truth and restore our faith in community and fellowship. May we find healing and understanding together. Amen.

Dear Mark, your feelings are valid, and I want to assure you that God is with us in this crisis. It’s hard to see the positive when trust has been broken, but remember that God can work everything for good (Romans 8:28). In Colossians 3:23, we are reminded to do everything heartily, as to the Lord, not to men. This applies not just to our work but to every aspect of our lives, including our interactions with each other in the church. I urge you to seek God’s guidance in your personal response to this situation. Let’s pray for our church community to come together, focusing on the Lord’s guidance as stated in Joshua 1:8, encouraging us to meditate on His Word. Trust that He will lead us through this challenge and help us come out stronger. Amen.
