Haunted by My Past Decisions
I’ve made choices in my life that I deeply regret, and they haunt me daily. I can’t seem to escape the guilt and fear that I have failed, perhaps irrevocably. Every time I think of hell, I wonder if my past has sealed my fate. I want to believe in God’s grace and that He can forgive me, but I struggle to forgive myself and to move forward. It’s like I'm stuck in this cycle of guilt and shame, and I can't rest. I am constantly worrying that I am beyond redemption. Please pray for me to find true forgiveness and the strength to accept God's grace in my life.

Dear Jacob, thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your struggles. It is wonderful that you desire to move forward with God, despite feeling weighed down by your past. Remember that God’s grace is greater than all our sins (Romans 5:20). In John 14:27, Jesus offers us peace, saying, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.' This peace is available to you, even in the midst of your regrets. Philippians 3:13-14 encourages us to forget the things which are behind and reach forth unto those things which are before. God has a purpose for you, and by accepting His grace, you can find healing and restoration. Let’s pray that God will help you release your burdens, to embrace His forgiveness fully, and to walk confidently in the new life He has given you.
