Healing from Allergies and Anxiety
Hello, my name is Mark, and I’m a 35-year-old teacher. I was recently diagnosed with a severe allergy to shellfish after a frightening incident where I nearly went into anaphylaxis. Since then, I find myself living in constant worry, and it feels as though I’m in a prison of fear. I struggle to enjoy meals with friends and family, and I often isolate myself to avoid any risk. I pray for healing from this allergy but also for the anxiety that has gripped my heart. I want to live fully again, free from fear. I would appreciate your prayers for my healing and the restoration of joy in my life.

Dear Mark, thank you for your candid request for prayer. It’s completely understandable to feel fear after such a traumatic experience. I want to remind you that God is capable of healing both your physical and emotional burdens. Isaiah 53:5 assures us, 'But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.' You must know that your life does not need to be defined by fear. James 5:15 tells us that, 'And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.' I encourage you to lean on your faith, find strength in community, and trust that healing is possible. Let’s pray together: 'Lord, I lift Mark to You and ask for healing in his body and spirit. May he find peace and joy in You. Amen.'
