Healing from Betrayal: A Journey of Trust
My heart is shattered after discovering my spouse's affair. We have been married for over ten years, and this betrayal has left me feeling lost and devastated. I am filled with anger and confusion, wondering if I can ever trust them again. I feel so torn between wanting to rebuild our marriage and the pain of what has happened. I’ve been praying for clarity and guidance on whether we can heal and move forward together or if it’s time to let go. Please pray for my heart to find peace and for wisdom in making this difficult decision.

Dear Maya, I can sense the deep pain you are experiencing, and I want you to know that God is near to those who are brokenhearted (Psalms 34:18). In times like these, we need to remember that God’s love is unfathomable and can mend even the deepest wounds. Your feelings of anger and confusion are valid, and it’s important to take time to grieve what has happened. I encourage you to seek God in this season. Ephesians 5:25 reminds us that love is a choice, and as you pray, ask God to help you discern whether rebuilding trust is possible. Remember, Matthew 19:6 teaches us that what God has joined together, let not man put asunder. It’s not an easy road ahead, but with God, healing is possible. I will be praying for you to have the strength to move in the direction God leads you, whether that’s toward healing or closure.
