Healing from Doubts in My Spiritual Life
I am a college student, and the impact of the pandemic has left me wrestling with my faith. I used to feel so close to God, but now I feel distant and unsure about so many things. My studies have become overwhelming, and instead of turning to God, I've turned to worry and fear. I sometimes wonder if God is still with me or if my prayers even matter. I long for the relationship I once had with Him, and I’m asking for prayers to help me heal from these doubts and rediscover the joy in my spiritual life. I want to trust that God has a plan for me and to feel His presence once again.

Dear David, your openness about your struggles truly touches my heart. Many young people are facing similar doubts, especially during such uncertain times. It's vital to remember that our faith is not always a straight path; it can have its twists and turns. In Hebrews 11:1, we learn that 'faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.' Even when you don’t feel close to God, He is there, guiding you through each challenge. I encourage you to cast all your anxieties upon Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 advises, for He cares deeply for you. Make time for prayer, even when it's hard, and seek moments of stillness to hear Him. As you navigate this tumultuous season, I will pray for you to experience a renewal of spirit and to trust in His perfect plan for your life. God bless you, and remember, He is with you every step of the way. Amen.
