Healing from Harmful Religious Control in Marriage
Dear God, my marriage is being heavily impacted by the controlling influence of a religious group that I feel has taken over our lives. My spouse seems to be more committed to the group's teachings than to our relationship, and this is causing deep pain and division between us. I ask for Your intervention to help us break free from this hold. Help us to find our way back to each other and to You. Restore the love and unity that we once shared, reminding us of the covenant we made in front of You. Heal our hearts and open our eyes to Your truth. I pray for understanding and compassion as we navigate this turmoil together. I trust that with Your guidance, we can overcome this and strengthen our marriage.

Dear Linda, I hear the pain in your words, and I want you to know that God is with you in this struggle. Marriage is a sacred covenant, as Jesus said in Matthew 19:6, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." Make it your priority to pray for your spouse, asking God to soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth. Psalm 128:3 reminds us, "Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table." God desires for your home to be filled with love, peace, and unity. Continue to seek God's guidance in all you do. I encourage you to communicate openly with your spouse about your concerns and your faith. Let’s pray together: Lord, guide Linda and her spouse back to each other and into Your loving embrace. Amen.
