Healing from Job Loss and Self-Worth Challenges
I am Lily, and the recent loss of my job has left me feeling devastated and confused about my identity. I poured so much of myself into my work, and without it, I feel lost. I pray for the strength to rediscover who I am outside of my career, and for healing from the grief that has enveloped my heart. I ask the Lord to help me find new opportunities and to restore my sense of self-worth during this difficult time.

Dear Lily, I’m truly sorry to hear about your job loss. It’s understandable to feel lost when something that defined you is suddenly taken away. However, remember that your worth comes from God, not your job. As we read in 2 Corinthians 1:4, 'Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble.' God’s comfort is available to you, and through this experience, He may use you to help others. This time of waiting may lead to beautiful new beginnings. In moments of despair, hold on to the promises of God, for He is faithful. Let’s pray together: Lord, comfort Lily in her grief and guide her to discover her identity in You. Amen.
