Healing from Loneliness Born of COVID Anxiety
As a 60-year-old retiree, I never expected to feel so isolated and anxious in my later years. The pandemic has left me feeling disconnected from friends and family, and I worry constantly about the future. I miss the joy of gathering with loved ones and fear that I may never feel that way again. I pray for healing from this loneliness and for God to restore my relationships. I desire to feel His presence in my life, guiding me back to community and meaningful connections.

Dear Helen, your feelings of loneliness are valid, especially in these challenging times. God has created us for community, and He desires for us to share our lives with others. In John 14:27, Jesus offers us His peace, which is unlike anything the world can give. As you seek to restore connections, remember that God goes before you, preparing ways for reconciliation and joy. Let's also remember the words in Lamentations 3:23, which remind us that every morning brings new mercies. I encourage you to reach out to your loved ones, even if it's a simple phone call. Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, I lift Helen to you. Please comfort her heart and bring healing to her relationships. May she find peace and connection in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
