Healing from My Teen's Reckless Choices
I’m reaching out for prayer because my 18-year-old son, David, has been making reckless choices lately. He has become involved with the wrong crowd, and I worry he is heading down a dangerous path. I feel like I am losing control and desperately want to guide him back to the right track. My heart aches seeing him in pain and making choices that could jeopardize his future. I pray for wisdom and strength to approach him without judgment. Please pray for David’s protection and for him to find his way back to a positive path. I want our family to come together and support him through this difficult time.

Thomas, I can feel your deep concern for David. As a parent, it’s one of the hardest challenges to see our children struggle with choices that could harm them. Let’s remember that God has a plan for David, even if he seems lost at this moment. In Proverbs 22:6, we read, 'Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.' Your guiding influence can still shape his future as you model love and wisdom. Approach him with an open heart and be ready to listen to his struggles; empathy can lead to healing. Pray for David daily, asking God to surround him with positive influences. Let’s pray: Dear Lord, I lift up David and ask for Your protection and guidance over his life. Help Thomas to be a loving and supportive presence as he navigates this challenging time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
