Healing from Past Church Wounds
My name is Sarah, and I feel so lost after being hurt by a church community I once loved. I’ve been carrying this pain for years, feeling abandoned and betrayed by those I trusted to guide me spiritually. I long to encounter the true Jesus again, the one who loves and accepts me without judgment. I want to feel His presence and forgiveness in my heart, not just the echoes of past hurt. Please pray that I can let go of my bitterness and find a fresh start in Christ, where I can heal and grow in faith once more.

Dear Sarah, I want you to know that your feelings of hurt and betrayal are valid, and it’s completely okay to seek healing from those wounds. Remember that Jesus Himself experienced rejection and pain (John 14:6). Your journey towards healing is important, and I encourage you to open your heart to His love. In Romans 10:9, it reminds us that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. This promise extends to you, as He desires to restore you. As you seek Him, remember that He is pursuing you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). I will be praying for your heart to find peace and for you to encounter the true Jesus who loves you deeply. Let’s pray together: Lord, I ask that You wrap Sarah in Your arms of love and bring healing to her heart. Amen.
