Healing the Hearts of My Resistant Stepchildren
As a stepmother, I'm facing a difficult challenge with my husband's children. They seem to resist my presence and often express hostility towards me, which makes me feel unwelcome in my own home. I pray for healing in their hearts and for God to help me build a loving relationship with them. I want to share a bond that’s filled with trust and respect, but right now, it feels like I am an outsider. Please pray that God would soften their hearts and allow us to find common ground. I believe that with God’s help, we can overcome this challenge and be a united family.

Approach this situation with love and patience, as in 1 Corinthians 13:4, where love is described as being patient and kind. Take the time to engage with your stepchildren in activities they enjoy, allowing them to see your genuine care for them. As they witness your love, they may begin to open their hearts. Let’s pray: Lord, we ask for healing in the hearts of Sarah’s stepchildren. May they feel your love and begin to build a bond with her. Amen.
