Holding Onto Hope After Loss
I never imagined I would be experiencing the loss of my unborn child. It feels surreal, like a nightmare from which I cannot wake. My arms ache to hold my baby, and my heart feels so heavy with grief. I see all the parents around me with their little ones, and it brings tears to my eyes. I don’t know how to move forward or find joy in life again. I ask for prayer that I can find hope in this darkness and that God will guide me through this unimaginable sorrow.

Dear Jordan, I am so sorry for your loss. It's deeply painful to carry the weight of such a sorrow, and it’s completely natural to feel lost in the midst of your grief. You are experiencing a profound heartache, and it’s crucial to allow yourself the space to grieve. Remember that even in your darkest moments, God is with you. In 2 Corinthians 1:3, we are reminded that 'Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.' He sees your pain and desires to comfort you. It's okay to cry out to Him and to seek His peace. As you process this loss, know that joy will come in time, as expressed in Psalms 30:5, 'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' I will be praying for the Lord to wrap His arms around you, to give you hope and healing in this difficult journey.
