Hope for Salvation of My Neighbor Betty
Betty lives two doors down from me and is in her late 70s. I've known her for a while now, and she often shares stories from her past. While she’s always been friendly, I sense a profound emptiness in her life. Recently, she mentioned feeling uncertain about what happens after this life. This opened a door for me to gently share about my faith, but I hesitated. I'm asking for prayer that I can broach this topic with her carefully and compassionately. I want to show her the love of Christ and the hope that comes from knowing Him. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare her heart and that I can find the right moment to share the truth of the gospel with her. I believe God has a plan for her life, and I want her to know she is loved and valued. Thank you for your support.

Dear Natalie, thank you for your prayer request concerning Betty. Your sensitivity to her spiritual needs is inspiring! It's wonderful to see how you want to share the hope found in Christ with her. Remember that God desires everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and your willingness to be a vessel of His love is so important. As you prepare to engage in this conversation, pray for her heart to be softened and for God to give you the right words to say. Romans 1:16 tells us that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. Your words can carry that power! Let's pray that Betty's eyes are opened to the truth of the gospel. Heavenly Father, guide Natalie as she shares your love with Betty, and may your truth set her free. Amen.
