Hope in Every Highway Rest Stop
As a truck driver, my job keeps me on the road for long stretches, and I often find myself alone at rest stops. I try to take advantage of these moments to speak with others, but I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the challenges of life and the heaviness of my own struggles. I am trying to be a witness for Christ, but there are days when my faith wavers. I desperately want to share the Gospel and hope with those I meet, but I need prayer to strengthen my faith and to have the right words when opportunities arise. Please pray that God gives me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and share His message of salvation with those I encounter.

Dear Mark, thank you for your openness and willingness to share your struggles. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed at times, especially when you’re navigating such a demanding job. Remember, even in our moments of doubt, God’s grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). His power is made perfect in our weakness. The Lord has placed you in a unique position to be a beacon of hope for others. You are right in seeking His guidance for the right words; the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say (Luke 12:12). Trust that God is already working in the hearts of those you meet. Every time you reach out, you are participating in the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Keep praying for boldness, and step out in faith knowing that you carry the message of salvation that can change lives. Let us pray together: Lord, strengthen Mark as he witnesses on the highways and fills him with the right words to speak. Amen.
