Hope in the Midst of Surgery Anxiety
My name is David, and I am 47 years old. I have been experiencing serious back complications that have led to the recommendation of spinal surgery. I can't shake the anxiety surrounding the risks involved, and I am trying to stay hopeful. My family is worried about me, which only heightens my stress. I’ve been praying for clarity and peace, but the fear keeps creeping in. I’m asking for prayers for a successful surgery, that the doctor's hands are guided by God, and that I can recover quickly to ease my family's worry. Thank you all for your support.

Dear David, I appreciate your honest expression of fear and anxiety as you navigate this challenging time. It's not easy to face such uncertainty. Please remember that God is with you. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to "cast all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." It’s clear that you love your family deeply, and it's okay to acknowledge your fears. Imagine the peace He offers you in Philippians 4:6-7: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication... let your requests be made known unto God." He desires for us to lay our worries at His feet. I will be praying for your surgery and for God’s peace to envelop you as you go through this. May you feel His presence every step of the way. Amen.
