Hoping for Redemption and Family Reunion in Faith
My name is Carlos, and I’m reaching out from a prison cell. I just found faith, and I truly believe it’s the best decision I’ve made. However, my family is distant and suspicious, thinking I’m just saying what I need to to get by. It hurts to feel rejected by them. I long for their love and support as I walk this new path. I pray that God will open their eyes and hearts to my genuine transformation. Please pray for my family's healing and acceptance and for my faith to remain strong during this difficult time.

Dear Carlos, thank you for sharing your story with us. What you are experiencing is both difficult and significant, and I want you to know that your desire for family acceptance is valid. Remember that 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil' (Jeremiah 29:11). God has a plan for your life, and it may involve healing relationships with your family. It's natural for them to be cautious, as change can be hard to grasp. ‘The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy’ (Psalms 103:8). Keep showing them the fruits of your faith through your actions and prayers. Trust that God can work miracles in their hearts. I will be praying for your family’s healing and your continued strength in this journey of faith.
