Hoping to Introduce My Faith to a New Friend
Hi, my name is Emily, and I am in the hospital for treatment. I recently met my roommate, Nina, who seems to be struggling with her faith. I feel called to reach out to her and share my own faith journey, but I’m feeling anxious about initiating the conversation. I want to encourage her and provide her with the hope that comes from knowing Christ. Please pray that I can communicate effectively and that she will be open to discussing her relationship with God. As you seek to share your faith, remember the assurance of John 14:6, where Jesus proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' This truth is transformative and can bring light into the darkest situations. As you’re speaking with Nina, let her see your genuine faith in action, as this can be more impactful than words alone. Remember that we all fall short, as stated in Romans 3:23, but God’s grace is available for all. Be gentle and patient, allowing her to express her feelings and questions.
