Hurt by My Child's Broken Home
As a father, it pains me to see my daughter and her husband struggling. They have two beautiful children, but the fighting and tension in their home are unbearable. I can tell my grandchildren feel the strain, and my heart breaks for them. I feel so helpless watching everyone suffer. I've tried to mediate and offer advice, but it often feels like I'm just making things worse. I pray for guidance to know how to support them and for peace to reign in their home. Please pray for healing in their marriage and strength for our family during this challenging time.

Dear David, your concern for your daughter and your grandchildren speaks volumes about your love and commitment to your family. It's difficult to witness loved ones in pain, especially when children are involved. Remember, God is a God of restoration and peace. In Psalm 127:3, it reminds us that 'Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.' Your grandchildren are precious in God's sight, and He cares deeply for their wellbeing. Encourage your daughter and her husband to seek counseling and to communicate with each other honestly, helping them understand the importance of fostering a healthy home environment. As 1 Peter 5:7 teaches us, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' We can trust that God hears our prayers and cares for our burdens. I will pray for unity and understanding in their hearts as they work through these challenges, and for wisdom for you as you offer your support. May God’s peace envelop your family during this time of trial. Amen.
