Longing for a Deeper Connection with Scripture
Dear Lord, I come to You full of longing but also with a heavy heart. I want to dive deeper into Your Word, but I often struggle to keep a consistent reading habit. I feel ashamed when I see how easily others engage with the Bible, and I worry that my lack of commitment is a reflection of my faith. I want to be close to You; I desire wisdom and guidance that only Your Word can provide. Life can be so demanding, and I often let distractions take precedence. Please help me to prioritize my time with You and to find joy in reading and learning from the Scriptures. I want to build a stronger foundation in my faith. Amen.
