Longing for Connection While Supporting Family Abroad
Greetings, I am Maria. I am currently working in the US while my sister and her children are back in our home country. The distance has made it difficult for me to feel connected with them, especially as they face hardships. Each month, I send money to help with their necessities, but I worry it’s not enough. I long for the days when we were together, sharing laughter and love. I ask for prayers for our family’s unity and strength during this challenging time. I also pray for divine provision and comfort for my sister and her children as they navigate life without me nearby. Thank you for your support.

Dear Maria, Your longing for connection with your sister and her children is deeply moving, and it reflects the love that binds families together. It’s natural to miss those we care for, especially during tough times. Remember, even in distance, God is with you and your family. As Matthew 25:21 reminds us, 'His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant...' Your commitment to supporting them, despite the miles, is a testament to your faithfulness. I encourage you to keep praying for them and trust that God is working in their lives. Ecclesiastes 9:11 also reminds us that while we may not always see the immediate results, God has a plan for each of us. I pray for your family’s strength and unity, that they may feel your love even from afar, and that God provides comfort and provision as you all navigate this season together. In His name, Amen.
