Longing for Faithful Friends in College

Dear Michael, I appreciate you sharing your heart with us. Loneliness can feel like a heavy burden, especially during your college years. However, rest assured that God sees you and desires to meet your need for companionship. In Ezekiel 18:23, we learn that God does not desire anyone to perish but wants everyone to come to repentance and know Him. I believe this includes your desire for friendships grounded in faith. Look to Christ as your ultimate friend and companion, as He is always with you, even when it feels like you’re alone. I encourage you to get involved in campus ministry groups or Christian clubs where you can meet others who share your faith. Romans 12:4-5 tells us that just as each of us has one body with many members, so in Christ, we, though many, form one body. Your longing for connection echoes a divine truth; we are meant to support and uplift one another. May God grant you the peace of knowing He is with you and the wisdom to seek out new connections that will encourage your faith.
