Longing for Hope Amidst Struggles of Immigration
As an immigrant who works in the fields, I often feel the weight of my past and the uncertainty of the future bearing down on me. I want to provide a better life for my family, but the challenges seem overwhelming. I came to this country with hopes of a new beginning, yet I often find myself battling loneliness and fear of judgment. I have a deep desire for my family to know Christ and for us to grow together in faith, but my struggles make it hard to focus on what truly matters. I pray for strength to overcome these feelings and for opportunities to share the gospel with my family. Please pray that God's light shines upon us, guiding us toward His love and hope.

Missions Pastor, First Baptist Church
Dear Sofia, thank you for pouring out your heart. The journey of an immigrant can be filled with many trials, yet your longing for your family to know Christ speaks volumes of your faith. Remember that God sees your struggles. Psalm 34:18 tells us that the Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Your fears and loneliness do not go unnoticed; lean into Him during these times. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that we are saved by grace through faith. Embrace this grace for yourself and share it with your family. Pray and invite God into your daily struggles; He will guide you and provide opportunities to share His love. I will be praying alongside you, believing that God will uplift you and your family.
