Longing for My Daughter’s Return to Faith
My daughter, Sarah, has turned away from her faith after a series of life disappointments. She’s now living in a group home after struggling with depression and feeling like she doesn’t belong anywhere. As a mother, it tears me apart to see her search for acceptance in places that lead her further from God. I pray daily for her healing and that she would rediscover the joy of salvation through Christ. I believe she is meant for more than this, but she needs to believe it too. Please pray for Sarah to find her way back to Jesus, to know that she is loved and valued by Him.

Jennifer, your love for Sarah shines through your words, and it’s clear that you are a source of strength for her. It is painful to see a child stray from faith, yet remember that God is faithful to pursue His children. Just as it says in John 10:10, Jesus came to give us life abundantly. I believe that He has a plan for Sarah, even in her darkest moments. You might encourage her with the message of Ephesians 2:9, that salvation is a gift from God, not something she must earn. Your prayers are powerful; James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Continue to pray for her heart to soften and for the Holy Spirit to guide her back to His loving embrace. I will pray with you for Sarah’s return to faith, for her to feel the depth of God’s love and acceptance.
