Longing for Spiritual Connection in a New Country
After moving to this new country as an immigrant, I’ve been feeling isolated and disconnected. I yearn for fellowship with others who share my faith and can encourage me in my walk with Christ. However, I worry that my neighbors, who come from various backgrounds, are not familiar with the Gospel. I pray for my own spiritual growth and also for the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus. I need strength and guidance on how to build authentic relationships, and I ask for prayers that God would open their hearts to accept the message of salvation. I want to share the hope that I have found in Christ and see others come to know Him.

Senior Pastor, Bethel Church
Dear Lina, it’s understandable to feel isolated when in a new environment. God knows your heart's desire for community and connection. In Hebrews 10:24-25, it encourages us to 'consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another.' Being in fellowship is crucial for our spiritual growth. As you seek to share the Gospel, remember that John 3:16 assures us of God's great love for all people. Also, in Romans 6:23, we find the beautiful promise of salvation: 'For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' Let’s pray that God connects you with like-minded believers and that you find opportunities for meaningful conversations that lead to salvation. Amen.
