My Brother's Harsh Words Challenge My Faith
I am reaching out with a heavy heart for my brother, who openly mocks my faith in Christ. He often ridicules my beliefs and laughs at the scriptures I hold dear. It hurts deeply to see him turn away from the path of salvation and reject the love of God that I know is available for him. I try to share my faith, but it only leads to conflict and more hurtful comments from him. I pray for his heart to soften and for him to see the truth of God’s love. Please pray that God would intervene in his life, helping him understand the importance of faith and leading him towards a relationship with Christ. I long to see him transformed by grace and filled with the joy of salvation.

Dear Samantha, I want you to know that your burden for your brother is shared by many believers who love those who are far from Christ. It’s heartbreaking to witness loved ones turn away from the truth, but remember that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it. As you navigate this difficult relationship, keep in mind that Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life' (John 14:6). Your brother may currently be lost, but God desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We can entrust him to the Lord’s loving kindness. I encourage you to pray for opportunities to show him Christ’s love, as well as patience as you endure this season. Remember that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), and pray for his eyes to be opened to the grace that is freely offered. Let us pray together for your brother’s heart to be softened and for God to draw him near. May your faith continue to shine, even in the face of mockery.
