Navigating Family Distrust in My New Faith Journey
Hello, I'm Aisha. I recently accepted Jesus in prison, and it’s been a remarkable experience, but my family doesn’t believe my conversion is genuine. They’re worried I’m just trying to manipulate them or get sympathy. I feel so lost, as I want to share my faith with them, but I also want their trust and love back. It’s painful to be doubted by the ones I love. I pray for open hearts in my family and for me to remain steadfast. I really need your prayers to strengthen my faith during this time.

Dear Aisha, thank you for trusting us with your feelings. It’s a tough position you are in, but your step of faith is courageous and commendable. Remember that transformation takes time, both for you and your family. 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God' (Romans 8:28). As you continue to grow in faith, surround yourself with those who will uplift and support you. Your family’s skepticism is a sign of their love and concern, but it’s important to show them through your actions that your faith is sincere. 'The righteous shall live by faith' (Habakkuk 2:4). Keep praying for them, and I suggest sharing scripture and your experiences with them gently. I will be praying with you for peace and understanding among your loved ones.
