Navigating Religious Differences with Grace
I recently connected with a Muslim coworker who seems genuinely interested in understanding Christianity. They have asked me multiple questions and even shared their own beliefs. While I've felt excited about the possibility of sharing my faith, I also feel apprehensive due to our differing beliefs. I'm a bit worried that our conversations might become contentious or awkward. My heart yearns for them to understand the message of Jesus and to know how deeply I care for them. I ask for prayer that I can approach our discussions with grace, empathy, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I want to be a true ambassador of Christ in our talks.

Dear Aisha, the opportunity to share your faith with a curious coworker is a blessing. It’s wonderful to hear about your discussions and your desire to communicate with grace. In Colossians 4:6, we are encouraged, 'Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.' This calls us to approach every conversation with kindness and respect, regardless of differences in belief. Remember, in Acts 4:12 it says, 'Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.' This truth can guide your discussions, emphasizing the uniqueness of Christ while maintaining humility. God is working in your coworker’s heart, and your openness can facilitate understanding. Trust in the Holy Spirit to provide the right moments for deeper dialogue. I will pray for you both, that your conversations glorify God and draw your coworker closer to Him.
