In Genesis 2:24, it says, 'Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.' This illustrates the divine design of unity in marriage and family, which applies to blended families as well. Your desire to connect with your stepchildren is commendable, and it is essential to approach them with love and patience. Remember, 'Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward' (Psalm 127:3). God values each child, and He sees your efforts. Consider creating small, meaningful moments with them that can help break down barriers, perhaps through shared interests or activities they enjoy.
