Navigating the Unknown After His Stroke
Ever since my husband's stroke, my world has turned upside down. His inability to speak has left us feeling isolated and has dimmed our once vibrant home. I'm scared about what the future holds for us, and I struggle with feelings of sadness and fear. I want to be his rock, but I often feel lost myself. I seek prayer for strength to navigate this unknown path and for healing for my husband. I want to find ways to reconnect with him and help him through this journey.

Dear Jessica, thank you for reaching out during such a turbulent time. Your vulnerability speaks volumes about the love you have for your husband. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the changes brought about by his stroke. But take heart, for God is with you both. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us to come to Him for rest. I encourage you to lean on Him during these moments of fear and uncertainty. Remember the assurance in Romans 8:28 that 'all things work together for good to them that love God.' There may be moments of despair, but God is weaving your story into something beautiful. I will be praying for clarity, connection, and healing for both of you, trusting that God will provide the strength you need to face each day.
