Navigating the Unknowns of Planting a Church
I am in a place where I feel a strong call to plant a church, yet I’m facing many unknowns that trigger my anxiety. I’ve been praying for confirmation and direction, but doubt continues to creep in. I want to serve God and bring hope to my community, but what if I fail to gather people? What if I'm not the leader everyone needs? I ask for prayer that I may find peace in this uncertainty and have the courage to take the necessary steps forward in faith. I desire to trust in God’s plan for my life and this new ministry.

Dear Nicole, thank you for your heartfelt prayer request. It’s courageous of you to acknowledge the doubts you’re facing as you consider this calling to plant a church. God understands your fears and desires to provide you with strength and confidence. Remember the promise in Isaiah 41:10, where God reassures us, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.' Lean into these words when fear arises. God’s plans are always greater than our understanding, and as you trust Him, He will make your path clear (Proverbs 3:5-6). Additionally, take comfort in knowing that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). I will keep you in my prayers, asking that you feel His guiding hand upon your heart and actions as you embark on this journey.
