Navigating Uncertainty as a Gig Economy Worker
My name is Olivia, and I've been working as a virtual assistant for over a year. While I enjoy the flexibility, the lack of benefits and the irregular income make it difficult to plan for the future. Every month feels like a financial roller coaster, and I worry how I will support myself in the long run. I often feel lonely and isolated since I work from home, and it’s easy to feel discouraged. Remember, you are not alone. The Lord sees your hard work and your dedication. 'But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus' (Philippians 4:19). Trust His provision in your life, even when it seems difficult. As you seek wisdom, I encourage you to pray for guidance. 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God' (James 1:5). Finding community, even in the virtual space, can also be a source of strength and encouragement. Surround yourself with those who uplift you and share your experiences.
