Overcoming Anxiety in First Job Challenges
Dear Lord, I ask for Your support as my daughter, Alyssa, struggles with anxiety at her new part-time job. She's just 15 and feels overwhelmed by the demands and expectations. Some days, she comes home in tears, feeling like she’s not good enough. I pray that You instill in her a sense of self-worth and remind her that mistakes are part of learning. Help her to manage her time effectively, so she doesn’t feel stretched too thin between work and school. Surround her with understanding coworkers who can mentor and guide her. I know You have a purpose for her in this job, and I trust that she will grow through these experiences. Thank You for being her source of strength. Amen.

Dear Sophia, I appreciate you reaching out about Alyssa's struggles. Starting a new job can indeed be a daunting experience, especially for a young person. I encourage you to remind Alyssa of God's promises and her inherent value as His creation. In Philippians 4:19, we find reassurance that God will supply all our needs. Alyssa's feelings of anxiety are valid, but she can lean on the truth found in Isaiah 41:10, where God says, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.' Encourage her to pray and seek God's help in moments of doubt. I will be praying for her peace and strength as she navigates these challenges. Let’s pray: Lord, we place Alyssa into Your hands, asking for peace in her heart and guidance in her work. Amen.
