Overcoming Doubts in My Financial Journey
Hello, I’m Mark, and I’m reaching out for prayer regarding my missionary work. I have been facing a troubling decrease in financial support, which is shaking my faith. I’ve dedicated years to serving in this ministry, yet now I find myself doubting if I’m doing the right thing. I struggle with feelings of inadequacy and fear that my efforts won't bear fruit. I often ask God if I should seek a different path. I am asking for prayer to overcome these doubts and for a renewed sense of purpose and financial provision to continue my work.

Dear Mark, first and foremost, take a moment to acknowledge your feelings—doubt can creep in during challenging times. It’s understandable, especially in your line of work where faith and finances are closely intertwined. Remember that God has called you to this ministry, and as it says in Romans 8:28, 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.' Trust that God has a plan and purpose for you, even when it feels uncertain. In Colossians 3:23, we are reminded to work heartily, as if doing it for the Lord, and that perspective can help guide your thoughts. Continue to seek God with your doubts, bringing them before Him in prayer (Philippians 4:6). I am praying that you find clarity and peace, and that God provides in ways that reassure you of His faithfulness.
