Overcoming Fear After Surgery
I’m James, a 45-year-old veteran who has struggled with anxiety and fear since my recent surgery. The procedure, while necessary, triggered memories of past traumatic experiences during my service. I find myself constantly replaying those moments in my mind, and it’s affecting my relationships and my faith. I’m asking for prayers to overcome this fear and move forward with my life. I want to trust God’s plan for me, but sometimes it feels impossible when anxiety grips my heart. Please pray that I find healing and a renewed sense of hope in the Lord’s promises.

Remember, God desires to replace your fear with His perfect peace. In Isaiah 26:3, we are assured that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him because they trust in Him. It’s crucial to focus on God rather than your fears. Philippians 4:6 encourages us to present our concerns to God, who hears our prayers and provides comfort. I encourage you to bring your memories and fears to Him daily. Let’s pray: Father, we ask for James to feel your presence and peace as he navigates these challenging emotions. Help him to trust in your promise of healing. Amen.
