Overcoming Fear for My Child's School Experience
I am a grandmother raising my 12-year-old grandson, and I find myself consumed by fear about his daily experiences at school. As he embarks on another school year, I can't shake off the anxiety that something could go wrong. I have seen too many heartbreaking stories in the news that make me worry about his safety with every passing day. I want to support him and instill confidence in him, but my fears often overshadow my intentions. I am reaching out for prayer that I may have the strength to overcome this anxiety and trust that God has a plan for my grandson, keeping him safe and secure. Help me find peace as I let go of my fears.

Dear Margaret, I admire your courage in raising your grandson and your desire to be a source of strength for him. Your love is evident, and it’s normal to feel anxious about the safety of those we care for. Remember, God is our refuge and strength. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.' This promise is a powerful anchor for our souls. In Philippians 4:6, we are encouraged to bring our worries to God in prayer, trusting Him to handle our fears. As you pray for your grandson, envision wrapping him in God’s protection. Let’s pray together for peace in your heart and safety in your grandson’s school life. Lord, help Margaret overcome her fears and trust in Your divine protection over her grandson. Amen.
