Overcoming Fear of Sharing My Faith
Hi, I'm Aisha, a 19-year-old college student. I've been feeling a heavy burden of fear when it comes to sharing my faith with others. I want to be a light for God among my peers, but the thought of being judged or ridiculed makes me hesitant. I often replay scenarios in my head where people laugh at me or dismiss my beliefs. This fear is crippling, and instead of speaking up for my faith, I find myself hiding in the background. I pray for the strength to step out and share the Gospel but feel paralyzed by anxiety. Can you please pray for me to gain the courage to witness boldly without fear of humiliation?

Dear Aisha, thank you for your honesty and your desire to share your faith. It’s natural to feel fearful in situations where your beliefs may be challenged. However, I want to remind you that you have the Holy Spirit living within you to give you strength and boldness. God’s Word encourages us to not be ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16). As you step out in faith, remember that you are not alone. The Lord has promised to be with you always, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). Trust that God will give you the words to speak when the time comes (Luke 12:12). I encourage you to pray before you share your faith, and ask God to guide your words and give you the courage you need. I will pray for you, Aisha, that you will shine brightly for Christ and that your fear will be replaced with confidence in His love and presence. You have the power to impact those around you with your testimony.
