Overcoming Fear Through Faith in God
Hello, I’m Sarah, a 30-year-old stay-at-home mom. Lately, I’ve been feeling intense anxiety related to my sensory sensitivities. Everyday noises like my children’s laughter and even the television can feel like too much, triggering feelings of fear and panic. I worry that I am unable to be fully present and engaged with my family because of this. I cry out to God for relief and to find balance in my home life. I pray for His strength to help me navigate these feelings and to enjoy quality moments with my kids without being overwhelmed.

Dear Sarah, thank you for being open about your struggles. Motherhood can be overwhelming, and it’s understandable to feel anxious when sensory overload occurs. Remember that God cares for you and your family deeply. In Matthew 6:34, we are reminded not to be anxious about tomorrow, as our Heavenly Father knows our needs. I encourage you to seek His presence, for He promises in Isaiah 41:10 to strengthen and help us. It’s important to take time for yourself, too, and find moments of quiet where you can recharge. I will pray for you to find peace amidst the busyness of motherhood, and that God fills your heart with joy. Let’s pray: Lord, I lift Sarah before you, asking for your peace to fill her home and heart. Amen.
