Overcoming Fear Through God’s Armor
I’m Jasmine, a 28-year-old who has recently become fixated on the idea of spiritual warfare. This concern has morphed into an irrational fear of evil forces attacking me and my loved ones. I’ve started feeling anxious even during the day, and it affects my work and my relationships. I am seeking prayer for clarity and the ability to trust in God’s armor to protect me. I want to feel empowered rather than afraid, and I believe that with prayer, I can find that strength. Please pray that I can firmly stand on God’s promises and break free from this fear.

Dear Jasmine, thank you for your honest sharing. It’s understandable to feel anxious when you’re aware of the spiritual battles around us. However, we must remember that God has equipped us with the armor to stand firm. Ephesians 6:11 encourages us to 'Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.' This armor is your protection against any fear or attack. Moreover, you can find solace in the truth of John 14:27, where Jesus assures us, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.' Trust that He gives you the peace you seek. Let’s pray: Lord, I ask that You cover Jasmine with Your divine protection and fill her with Your peace as she battles these fears. Help her to stand firm in her faith and trust in Your mighty armor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
