Overcoming Fear to Share My Faith as an Intern
As a 19-year-old intern in a bustling marketing firm, I feel pressure to conform to the environment, which often seems indifferent to faith. I grew up attending church but now find it challenging to express my beliefs among peers who may not understand or respect them. I often feel invisible and unsure of how to introduce conversations about God in a way that feels natural. My heart desires to shine for Christ, but I need prayer to overcome my fears and to find authentic ways to witness. I want to live out my faith courageously and to reflect Christ’s love and grace in my workplace.

Senior Pastor, Bethel Church
Dear Liam, thank you for sharing your heartfelt request. It’s wonderful to see your desire to shine for Christ amidst your internship. Remember, God has placed you there for a reason! In John 3:16, we find a reminder of how deeply God loves each person: 'For God so loved the world…' This love is what you can share in your workplace. In moments of fear, remember that God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Speak from the heart, let your life reflect His grace. Look for opportunities to serve and to show kindness, as these actions can open doors for conversations about faith. I will pray for you as you navigate your internship, asking God to give you courage and clarity in every interaction. May He guide you in sharing His love in meaningful ways.
