Overcoming Flight Anxiety for Career Growth
My name is Sarah, and I’m a 42-year-old project manager. I've always loved my job, but I have recently been struggling with intense fear related to flying for work-related projects. This anxiety has made it challenging for me to take on leading roles in projects that require travel. I feel like I'm missing out on opportunities that could help me grow in my career and serve my team better. I’m asking for prayers that God would help me overcome this fear and allow me to travel confidently. I truly want to fulfill my calling without being hindered by anxiety.

Dear Sarah, thank you for your openness in sharing your struggle. It’s inspiring to see your desire to grow and serve despite the challenges you face. God is faithful and promises to be with us in our times of need. As you seek courage to overcome this phobia, remember that God has adopted you as His child, and you do not have to live in fear (Romans 8:15). Instead, lean into His everlasting arms, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). While facing your anxiety, take time to meditate on God’s word and bring your concerns to Him in prayer. I will be praying for you to find the strength and peace you need as you step out in faith. Lord, grant Sarah the courage to travel confidently and embrace her roles. Amen.
