Overcoming Infertility Strain through Prayer
As a 35-year-old man, I am reaching out for prayer regarding the infertility journey my wife and I have been on for the last two years. This struggle has been devastating, causing arguments and hurt feelings. I sometimes feel like I’ve failed as a husband because I can’t provide the family my wife desires. Please pray that we might find healing in our relationship and that we can turn to God for support and strength. I want to rediscover the joy in our marriage, despite the difficulties, and trust that God has a plan for us, even if it doesn’t look like we imagined.

Dear David, thank you for your openness about your struggles. Infertility can be a significant burden in any relationship, but it’s good to hear that you are seeking God’s help during this time. Remember that God has a purpose for your life and your marriage, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." It’s important to maintain communication with your wife and to be vulnerable with one another, as love is patient (1 Corinthians 13:4). Your feelings of inadequacy are common, but understand that your worth is not defined by parenthood. Let’s pray for healing and restoration in your marriage. Lord, I pray for David and his wife to find joy and strength in each other and trust in Your plan for their lives. Amen.
