Overwhelmed by Fear of Losing My Loved Ones
After losing my mother last year, my heart is heavy with the fear of losing others I love. Every time the phone rings or I receive a text, I feel anxiety grip me, worrying that it might be bad news. I am terrified of being left alone and not having anyone to turn to. I often feel paralyzed by this dread and am struggling to enjoy life. I need prayer to help alleviate this anxiety and to remind me that loss is a part of life that God can help me navigate. I need strength to face each day without this constant fear.

Dear Samuel, I am truly sorry for your loss and understand how deep that grief can run. The loss of a loved one can leave us feeling vulnerable and anxious about future losses. However, I want to remind you of God’s promise in Philippians 4:6: 'Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.' Bringing your fears to God in prayer is a powerful step. In Isaiah 41:10, He assures us: 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee.' Trust that He walks alongside you during these difficult days. And remember, in John 14:27, Jesus offers His peace to us, which can calm our troubled hearts. Let us pray for healing and peace to fill the void left by your loss and guide you through your fears. Amen.
