Overwhelmed by Sensory Overload and Anxiety

I’m a 27-year-old woman named Sarah, and I've been struggling with extreme anxiety caused by my sensory sensitivities. Simple things like bright lights, loud noises, and even certain textures can send me into a panic attack. It's been challenging to navigate everyday life, and it often feels like I'm trapped in a world that's too overwhelming. I try to manage my feelings on my own, but it often leads to moments of despair and loneliness. I want to find peace and calm in my life, and I’m asking for prayer to help me cope with my anxiety and to receive God’s comfort. Please pray that I can feel His presence guiding me through these unsettling moments.

Dear Sarah, I want you to know that God sees your struggles and is right there with you in your anxiety. He understands your pain and invites you to cast all your cares on Him, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' Anxiety can feel isolating, but remember that you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 91:1). When you feel overwhelmed, it is a reminder to turn to Him, for He promises peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). I encourage you to seek out quiet places where you can spend time with God, perhaps in prayer or through worship, allowing His presence to fill you with calmness. Keep your eyes on Him and trust in His goodness during this difficult time. I will be praying for you, asking the Lord to grant you peace and comfort in your journey.
