Overwhelmed by the Job Search Process
I find myself feeling overwhelmed as I search for a civilian job after my military service. Every day is filled with uncertainty, and I fear I am losing my identity without the structure and purpose of the military. I feel anxious and at times even hopeless as the weeks go by with no responses to my applications. I seek God's guidance and strength to keep pushing through this difficult season. Please pray for me that I find a fulfilling job soon, one where I can contribute and grow.

Dear Jessica, thank you for sharing your heart with us in this challenging season. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed when facing such a significant life transition. Just remember that your identity is rooted in Christ, not in any role or job (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are a new creation in Him, and He has a plan for your life. In times of uncertainty, it's essential to lean into His promises—He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Take comfort in the truth of Matthew 6:33; as you seek Him, He will direct your path and provide for your needs. I am praying for your strength and resilience during this job search. May God give you peace and clarity as you take each step, and open the doors necessary for you to find fulfillment in your work.
